The first scenario would allow the developer – Fool’s Theory – to maintain maximum fidelity to the original. Will the game’s world gradually open up to the protagonist, without depriving him of the possibility of returning to locations where he has already completed the main storyline? Or maybe Geralt will be able to visit all available areas in any order? This raises the question of what approach the creators will take The Witcher Remake.
It was only in the last chapter that Geralt was able to visit Old Vizima (and several locations previously known). 
The fourth act threw the White Wolf beyond Vizima, to the village of Odmęty and the areas surrounding it (this was strongly related to the plot). In the third act, the Trade Quarter came to these areas. In the second act of the game, Geralt was limited to the Monastery district of Vizima and the forest in the swamp, to which he could be transported by a boatman. After a short prologue in Kaer Morhen, Geralt ended up in the outskirts of Vizima – the capital of Temeria, which was his goal, because it was impossible to get there without a safe-conduct (by the way, the White Wolf did not need it, because as a witcher he is immune to infectious diseases). The creators cleverly circumvented the limitations of the Aurora engine, making one of the elements of the story the Catriona plague, thanks to which the full game area was never available. This information is so surprising that the areas where we were moving in “one” can at most be called semi-open. It turns out The Witcher Remake will be set in an open world. The document contains an interesting mention of the recently announced remake of the first installment of the series. 
As you already know, the CD Projekt Group has today published its financial report for the third quarter of 2022.
